Charters Perfect for the Kids and Adults Alike ! Millions of people go fishing on Ohio's 147 mile long Lake Erie and about one fourth are youngsters under the age of 18. When it comes to youngsters, they say fishing is fun ! I say it's more than mere amusement; it's educational, challenging, promotes health and excercise along with teaching the value of patience. It's my experience that youngsters need fast action to keep their attention, therefore it's usually best to start by keeping it simple by bottom fishing for Erie's delicious yellow perch which have been known to be in abundance. Of course we will have to be prepared just in case a larger fish like a walleye or fresh water drum hits the line. The smile on your youngsters face will tell it all !! I take pride in offering a learning as well as a catching experience. |
